Howopia.co.uk is website dedicated to publishing How to guides in  a similar fashion to eHow in the US.

The site is very much UK focussed and the idea is that anyone, normally professional writers or people who would be considered experts within their chosen field, write the guides and the site shares the advertising revenue with them.

This is a website that I set up in partnership with Mark Smith, formerly of TMN Group plc. I set up Howopia.co.uk using the Drupal CMS framework which gives the site a great deal of functionality. We operate a strict editorial process to ensure only quality guides are published, and we have a workflow in place to ensure each written article is reviewed by an editor before being published or sent back to the author for a rewrite.

Howopia.co.uk officially launched in December 2010 and by June 2011 has almost 100 articles and over 300 authors.
